A thin-bodied classical guitar, with my own acoustically optimized equilateral triangular bracing system. The body and neck are eastern maple, with anĀ old-growth California redwood soundboard, and rosewood fretboard/bridge/headstock veneer.
The rigidity of the body allows for minimal bracing on the soundboard, and no bracing on the back, allowing for a much fuller and warmer tone than would normally be possible in a body so thin.
The triangular bracing is centered on the circular area of active soundboard at the lowest frequency of the instrument. The curved soundhole arcs around this zone, to avoid losing any of the active area.
